SETEL Survey on IT Security

SETEL's research is not for academic purposes, rather it is solely to design practical remedies to minimise the impact of e fraud on small businesses. The ACCC now estimates e-fraud runs in the billions in Australia and small businesses are bearing a disproportionate cost. But we need small businesses help to understand exactly which remedies would be the most appropriate based on their levels of awareness, skills and needs.

SETEL received a Federal Government grant to identify the incidence and impact on small and home businesses of fraud that maybe received via the Internet, spam, scams, VoIP, mobile phones and landlines.
